Forest Lights Bargello

This is the second bargello quilt I designed. The idea of the light coming down through the trees was my inspiration, as I knew that both Ryan and Kristi are nature lovers and they also love those earthy colors. I purchased fabric first, and then designed the quilt on graph paper. The quilting was very challenging for me as I did it all free-motion, and I was still pretty new at that. But it seemed to turn out just lovely (maybe despite the quilting).
